__________
Everything here is given in order of word, tone, region, and the romanization. Note that I gave two different romanization examples.
romanization is given in ningbo dialect:
in simplified
五 声调: 上 上海, 宁波 ng(ver./col.)/wu(lit.) -five
人 声调: 平 上海, 宁波 nyin(ver./col.)/zoen(lit.) [zøn] -man, person
我 声调: 上 上海, 宁波 ngo -I, me, first-person pronoun
弗 声调: 入 上海, 宁波 fah -not
寻 声调: 平 上海, 宁波 zhin -to seek, to find
romanization is given in shanghainese for comparison:
in traditional
五 聲調: 上 上海, 寧波 ng/u -five
人 聲調: 平 上海, 寧波 nyin/zen -man, person
我 聲調: 上 上海, 寧波 ngu or ngo -I, me
弗 聲調: 入 上海, 寧波 veh -not
尋 聲調: 平 上海, 寧波 zin -to seek, to find
So for Shanghainese, the tones are quite close to Ningbonese.
Sorry for the delay.
http://wu-chinese.com/minidict/ (only works w/ simplified)
Note that if I had the resources to make a reasonable Wu Chinese romanization, I would. But I still lack knowledge of some aspects of Wu phonology.
